you have to grind the grooves in the splines on the input shaft back about 3/8 to 1/2 in. I put the disc on the shaft till it won't go any further. I mark where it stops & pull it back off. Then i grind the grooves with a die grinder or cuttoff wheel. Try the disc till it will slide back far enough from the marks. You have to remove the brg retainer & cover the front of the trans. to keep the fillings out.
