Hey ,i have a 90 suburban with a 10 bolt front axle and recently put a lift and steering components on it. The lift is about 8" and the steering consists of a Drop pitman arm and a raised steering arm(on knuckle) and stock draglink, although i do also have a 4" dropped link, but dont use it.
Anyways onto my problems, the truck doesnt steer too far left or right. It comes no where close to hitting the stock bumpstops thats threaded into the knuckle or w/e that thing is lol. my second problem is that the tierod on the draglink hits my tire when its turned all the way to the right
. I made sure to find the steering center(lock-to-lock, then half of that, which puts the steering in the right place. I have some pics to show incasee maybe theres something in there that you can spot wrong with my setup...
Lastly... i dont know if maybe a wider rim or different offset rim might be needed?? it only rubs when it turn pretty much alll the wau to the right, but a rim with less offset will make my tire stick out more, which i dont really want..as it already sits out plenty far lol
