Blazer suburban tank Original. Needs work
Ok, I have an original gas tank pulled from a 1970 suburban. I was going to use it in my blazer, but took it to a radiator shop, and they told me it was varnished inside and would cost more to have them do it than if I got a new one. So I did just that and got a new one.
The tank doesn't leak at all, and is all there. Some light surface rust on the outside, haven't looked on the inside, but I assume it'll need to be cleaned and sealed. I am planning on removing the filler neck and replacing it with the one from the repro tank, but would consider leaving it with the right offer. There are no dents in it either. It has a sender in it, but I was told it was bad. never tested it myself. Have another from my original tank on the blazer which can be included too. Will also include the NEW straps, as i will be using the originals on my truck. I will not ship it. I can bring it to Spring Carlisle on friday. Or I can take it to Enfield, CT the weekend of the 24th. Pictures will be forthcoming. Starting price $60 with new fillerneck, $75 with original
