towing question

not sure if this is the right section or not. Thinking about towing my '67 burb 4x4 on a tow dolly behind a Uhaul truck 800 miles. The burb has a 6 inch lift with 37 inch tires but the front tires and wheels will be replaced with smaller ones to fit the tow dolly. I've been told to remove the driveshaft even though it is a manual trans, and I was just wondering if anybody had any other ideas how to make this go smoothly? Not gonna happen for another month but just want to be prepared. Is there a certain size Uhaul truck that would tow my big burb better than another. Not moving much furniture, just a 1 bedroom apartment size. Thanks in advance.
