Soft power brake pedal 81 Chevy
Just did a search, only thing that I found was that the drums may be bad / need shoes. Basically, the pedal goes down pretty far before grabbing, not a smooth modulation (like my red truck with manual brakes was). It has a new master cylinder and I THINK new pads in the front, but not positive on the pads. I know it needs the backs worked on, as there is a pulse on stopping (but not in the steering wheel, thus, the backs) but is this the likely culprit for the soft pedal? I don't wanna jump into buying this truck if its a big problem area.
