*LS/GenIII swappers* A/C part numbers inside
I put together a list of parts needed if you are swapping to a GenIII/LS style engine and wish to retain the LS's A/C compressor in it's original location without notching the frame. I also threw in some part numbers of other things like the condenser, accumulator, etc in case you either need to or want to replace those.
I got the system charged today and it works awesome, so if this is the way you are planning/wanting to go, it works great! Keep in mind - the misc part numbers for things like the condenser, accumulator, and so forth are specific to my 85; however, they will most likely be the same for 81-87. 73-80 will almost definitely have different part numbers. If you are doing this on a 73-80, confirm the fitting sizes on the receiver dryer/accumulator, evaporator and the condenser before ordering your fittings.
