Stepside to Fleetside

Hello everyone. My name is Rod and I am a long time reader but this is my first post. I've never been one to ask for help or advise but as I've grown older I start to realize that grip it and rip it, and the school of hard knocks are not always the way to go. Dad was right. Again.

I'm looking at purchasing a 1966 stepside. The truck has 5 lug conversion, power discs on the front, big back window, painless wiring harness with 305 TBI 350 Auto. Allot of work has already been done but I am not crazy about the stepside. Are the frames the same for stepside and fleetside? Can I swap a fleetside bed on the truck? Any input is appreciated. I appreciate the amount of knowledge that is available on this board.
