Has anyone ever made one of these a convertable???

I was drifting back to my younger days in the late 80's to early 90's. I remember a crazy where guys were taking the little import trucks and making the tops removable. They could actually set the top in the bed. The lines of the top made it somewhat do-able. I was wondering if people attempt or succeed with these trucks. It looks like the top part where the window and top meet would be almost impossible to do right but I have seen some incredible things on this website. I'd LOVE to find a 2wd blazer to do the same thing I did to my truck. Blowing the top off a pickup and doing something with the back part of the cab could be interesting if done right.

Any pics??
