Red face ? for the 4X4's

hey guys need some lift help. got a 77 C10 lwb 2wd. all my other boxes have been 2wd also so i drop them to the ground like they are suppose to be. but i got this 77 and i don't want it on the ground. want to have a little bit of a view. got stock rims (don't know the size and can't find out because its in storage and im in iraq) so here are some questions.

what is the biggest tire i can fit on a stock C10 5x5 lug rims?

do i have to buy new rims?

should i just do a body lift or should i do something with the suspension?

-if suspension tell me what to get, all the kits are for 4X4's naturally.

ok now to power:

its got a stock 350 in it that has some strength to it
getting a 700R trans put in it.

is this a good trans for bigger tires?

the first picture is my truck.
the second pic is the hight and stance i would like. I also like the third pics stance except on a 77 body. got any idea's? (other then buy a 4X4)

so guys how would i do this? and the harder question how would i do it on a budget?
