Semi top-chop 55-59
i've been sitting around looking at pics of old trucks and got an idea. i wonder if anyone has ever done it before.
i've always liked the 55-59s but the windshield is taller than the door glasses. so i'd like to cut out the roof of the cab but leave about 1" around the outer edges, chop the roof pillars, and just lower the very front of the cab about 2 inches and blend it all back in without cutting the door frames. then chop the windshield. just to bring the cab-brow down to match the door frames better. does this make sense? i can draw a picture of what i'm talking about and scan it on my sister's computer if that would be better. i think it would be a subtle custom look without changing the classic lines of the truck.
