New guy here wit a 72 gmc

Hey guys, I`ve been lurking and reading here for some time. My name is Ron and I live in Alberta canada. I had a 71 gmc for my first truck when I was 16 it sure was a great truck and fun to drive! still kicking myself for letting the wife talk me into selling it. well now I found myself a 72 to fix up/ restore. I don`t have much money to put in right now so I found a truck that is in pretty good shape and driveable.
So far I`ve put a new ram horn on the passenger side, fixed one of the exhaust hangers and gave it a complete tune up, I cut some of the rust out of the floor boards and it needs some work to the cab mounts right at the rockersbut in general it`s a pretty solid truck. Runs good and drives great, unfortunately it`s not the original motor, it`s a target master 350 late 70`s or early 80`s I`d say. I`ve been kicking around the idea of finding a 400 sbc to rebuild with a little performance between 350 to 400 horse would be nice.
i`ll get some pics up in a bit.
