wanting to swap a '96 LT-1/4L60E into my 69

I have a wrecked 96 Z28 that has 44k miles on it and I would like to swap the engine/trans into my 69 C/10. The car runs without any issues now. I've searched but haven't found many threads on the subject. I would like to use the LT-1's A/C compressor too if possible. My truck isn't factory air so I'm guessing a retrofit kit would be needed? To use the 4L60E, will I need to purchase another crossmember and have the driveshaft shortened? The truck currently has a 350, turbo 350 and a 2 piece driveshaft.


I already have a LS1 Camaro SS so I don't want to swap an LS based engine into the truck. I got a good deal on this setup and that is why I want to use it.
