Engine Rebuilding Advice
Alright first of all, my uncle who has built a few engines is advising me. I'm trying to learn though.
So far I've disassembled my 250 Inline 6 down to all thats left is the crank. The ridge in the cylinder wall can catch my fingernail, but I was going to have it bored .030 over anyway. So today I call the machine shop and he gave me a price to have it bored, honed, cleaned, new cam bearings, freeze plugs. He gave me a price of $220. Think this is fair? Also what else should I have done? I'm already busting my 16 year old self's budget
