New Guy

Howdy all,
Just found out about this site from a post on coloradok5.com. Looks like a great site so I decided to sign up. I currently have a 1972 K20 Suburban, I am in the process of installing a Banks equipped 6BT (5.9L) turbo/intercooled Cummins, NV4500, NP205 into it. It started as a K10, but I converted it earlier when I put a 454, TH475, NP205, 14FF, front Dana 44 (big hub model) into it. Drove it around the block a few times and decided to convert it to Diesel (something about 640ft/lbs that just sounds fun ). I've had the truck a few years now, and have done quite a bit of work to it since (truck was in decent shape when purchased). It has front and rear A/C, p/s, p/b (converting to hydroboost), 31 gal fuel tank, and a hand built wiring harness using an 89 Sub fuseblock with an early 80's bulkhead connector, using all oe terminals/crimping tools and Packard TXL/SXL wire throughout dash and engine compartment . I also created a relay bank next to the fuseblock that handles the horn, rear A/C, and an accessory relay that I installed to get rid of the brown wire from the ignition switch that melts (all interior relays are the same now). I do a fair bit of wiring work, so if you cross something electrical that you can't find, let me know as I may be able to help. Likewise, I am usually interested in any old harnesses that have any of the plastic connectors on them that appear to be useable. I think this is enough for now. I look forward to corresponding with you folks in the future .
Take care,
Nick
