Hey Guys

I have a 65 GMC short/step project. Gonna end up putting a big block in it. (V8 BB) It has a dana 44 with 3.54 gears. I wanted to put in a Powertrax, but i keep hearing they dont hold uup to a BB. What are some other options for this? Is it better to swap it out for a 12 bolt? Or is there another option to make it a strong posi? I just put new tires on the 6 lug rims, and just totally rebuilt the brakes with new rear drums. After all that i would hate to swap to 5 lug.
