Vortec Head Question: Temp sensor

I just installed a set of Vortec heads. On the driver's side where the temp sensor should go is a pipe plug. Problem is, it's recessed and SQUARE. Been to every parts store in town. Can't find a tool to get the dang thing out. I've got plenty of hex wrenches, but no square ones.

Anybody know where to get a tool to get this thing out ? Measures out to about 8mm. Is it something I have to get from from the General or is there another way.

Also, it looks smaller than the temp sensor from my old heads. What are you using for a sensor ?
