Tire Size Opinions/Poll

So, I'm running 15x7 slotted aluminum mags on my 64 GMC. Right now with 275/60s all around, 2 are fresh 2 are shot. I wanted to do taller tires out back and skinnier up front even though my rims are all 15x7, cant afford a new set. However, I dont think the 15x7 wheels can handle a wider tire...

Should I do the 275/60s out back, and a smaller tire up front, say 225/60/15....

OR, should I run the 275/60s up front, and get taller 31" tires or so out back?

Gonna be a 2wd half ton at stock height. Let me know.
