Misplaced Louisianan
My experience as a mechanic would definitely be labeled as novice shadetree, I currently own 90 K1500 w/350ci, 640cfm Holley TBI, 5-speed. She's a short standard cab stepside. I'll post a pick once I get her bathed. The work I've done: replaced the distributor, spark advance, pick-up coil (it was a distributor kit), radiator, water pump, rebuilt tranny then dropped it 3 times to find the leak, clutch plate assembly, entire clutch assembly from foot to flywheel, TPS, ECM, EGR valve, fuel tank sending unit....that's it for now, that I can recall. Soon enough she'll be new again.
I currently live in San Diego, and will for a few more years. I've got questions, and I've found a few things that might assist others, but from what I've seen you fellows are quite the experts. Here are my other vehicle repair experiences: 86 Olds Cutlass Sierra, 82 Datsun 4wd, 90 S-10 4wd, 98 Malibu. Odd and end things with all these, nothing too ridiculous, minus the Datsun. Well gentlemen, I look forward to working with you all. |
