Anyone bought a "Canadian" gas tank?
After I drained the tank completely and set it out to dry, I determined it's not worth saving. The rust was pretty bad on the bottom and it has several microscopic pin holes. That explains the strong gas smell in the cab.
Has anyone ever bought a Canadian gas tank. According to this guy, it's made of "corrosion resistent Ni-Terne steel" and it's thicker gauge than the Taiwan made ones. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/67-68...item3a5d63610d |
