March Pulley Alignment Issues
I have a BBC with the dual belt March serpentine setup. I am having trouble with the power steering pump not lineing up with the crank pulley. The alternator belt is perfect. It is a little hard to explaing but the PS pump seems crooked. Now the belt kicks as soon as I start it.
I check and the PS pump itself seems to be fine and not wore out, there is no play in the pulley itself. It jsut seems the brackets do not let it sit in line with the crank pulley. I have tried to shim it out but don't really tihnk it should be necessary since I am using everything that came in the kit Also there seems to be very little "tightening" adjsutment? Anyone else with these issues?? I attached an old picture of it when the truck was apart, I should have paid more attention at that point since fixing it would be 1000 times easier than now! Thanks guys
