Oil for 71 C20 4sp & Eaton HO52+Original NoSpin Doc pics
I went to do a rear brake job on the 71 C20 and the fluid that came out looked like mud!!!!
What are you guys running for weights and brands for 71 dana 60's with No Spin Detroit lockers? I believe with the Detroit there is no need for friction modifier. I assume you refill to the plug height on the cover. Also, what is the correct oil for the 4sp trans in the same truck. I am assuming the top pipe plug is the fill and the bottom the drain. Do I refill to the fill hole or is there a specific amount of gear oil that goes back in? Also I found all of the original NoSpin documents in the glovebox! Is that cool or what!
