Hello - '72 c20 Sub - looking to replace my stock 16.5 rims and 8.75 x 16.5 tires with the more conventional 16in sizes.

http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp is a great calculator as they include the older 8.75/9.5/etc. designation and show diameter (and more) comparisons.
I'm going for as close to stock tire size as to not effect speedo/odd and it looks like 235/75/16 is they way to go (gets the closest diameter to original).
Question: What size rim width should I go for? I can use 6-8in rim widths - looks like stock is closer to the 6in width...any advantage to going to the 8 inch width?
Question: Anyone use the Wheel Vintiques 8lug OE wheel yet...can you get this hub cap on it (the WV site looks like it will fit)?
