Oh, and also, with linkage disconnected, the throwout bearing is still sitting against the pressure plate teeth things..
could the TB be on backwards? edit, My old motor was a 78-79 something like that 350 I called orielly and they said its the same part number for my 68 with a 307 (what it had stock) and the 78 or 79 chevy truck with 350 so that leaves me to believe i have the long throwout bearing and need the short one? im really lost here
