advice

Hello all
I'm goona drop my rig a little, nothing like some have done, we have pot holes here. lol
anyways.. I'll be making the 2" rear drop with blocks..
the front..
right now the fender lip is 6" from the tread (245/60/15)
and is holding up a 350 sbc
I'm going to be installing a 454.. with iron heads..water pump but alum intake..
how lower will the bbc make the front end. (ballpark)with the stock sbc springs..
an inch ,2
not gonna be running anybigger rims.. I have 3 sets of 15" they are here and the right price..

it has a rake to it now. and the 2" rear drop will almost make it level "IF" the bbc drops the front about 1/2-1"

in the rear what would be better the blocks or just cutting the springs..
this truck will see stuff in the bed(not much or offen, but)
it's a 1/2 ton
thanks..
