350 Motor Swap w/ 4 speed manual tranny
Alright everyone I have a dilemma with my 72 Chevy C-10. I recenty pulled a 350 from a 70 GMC that I went through and got in good running condition. I then pulled my worn out 250 inline six from my 72 and dropped the 350 into place. Everything fit like a glove except for the clutch linkages. The 350 came from a pickup with an automatic so I bought the clutch ball that bolts to the side of the motor but when I put the exhaust on its in the way and theres no room for the clutch linkage set up.
Has anyone else ran into this problem when doing a swap like this?? The way it looks to me is if a get an exhaust manifold off a 4 wheel drive that drops straight down i would have enough clearance but I'm not sure. (the manifold i have on now angles down and back)
If anyone has any info please let me know
Thanks
