Re-doing my gas tank
I had thought about replacing my gas tank and the reserve tank on my 72 burb. Unfortunately, LMC and other companies only offer 1 tank that holds around 20 gallons. I would like to keep the original tank and reserve which holds around 40+ gallons but I'm wanting to clean it out before I put gas in it (It hasn't been driven in several years as I have been restoring it).
Can someone recommend what I need to do to my tanks to get the rust out and anything else I need to do to my tanks? Thanks in advance, Joe |
