72 GMC burb with 67 hood....anyone done this?

I was told the only thing to change on a GMC was the hood latch/support, and that the upper grille trim and "eyebrow" trim on the fenders... anyone know for sure? I know GMC and Chevrolet are different here, just dont know how different. I have a 72 GMC, and the 67 hood already...just havent dry fitted it yet, cuz its in the middle of a frame/drivetrain swap.
