I have a fair amount of experience with chrome exhaust and unless you plan on making this truck into a trailer Queen for car shows, chrome headers are going to turn blue and rust up quicker than you would expect.

Thanks for the advice, I had to replace the alternator this weekend and I got the same advice for a chrome alternator (not to do it because the retain heat and fail sooner than the regular cast metal).
