Call me stupid.....

My girlfriend has no problem calling me stupid so i am giving the board a chance also!
For some reason when I bought my 67 swb 4x4 truck project I left it outside my friends shop overnight so I could make room in my shop for it. It was all in pieces with most of it in boxes in the cab and bed. Somebody scored big time and got pretty much all the good stuff. Short story.

So, I was stupid........and i am going to maybe add to that. I remember that the engine crossmember,292, was angled because of the 292 offset engine mounts. I have dug thru my shop getting all the parts i have gathered to put this truck back together. After severel weeks I can't find the engine crossmember , so i saw a couple of 292 4x4 for sale and PM'ed about some pix of the crossmember. Thought it would help so I knew what i was looking for.

here is the stupid part, I was asked was I sure that the crossmember was angled.

So, does a 67 swb 4x4 292 have a straight across crossmember like a 250 or V-8 or is it angled like I remember? add to this, are the 2x4 and 4x4 engine mounting brackets the same?

LOL, here is everybody shot................
