69 1 ton

I need some info.Ive needed a cab for my rusted 67 for a while now and Ive located a 69 1 ton.The owner wants to keep the engine from the 69.He is also 150+-miles from me.The tow bill is $400 to get it home.I think Ill take my engine from my truck,put it in the 69 and drive it home.My question is this:
69 has a 307 v8,I have a 292 6cyl w/manual trans.Any problems with this idea
like flywheel difference? Ill have to fab up exhaust too but thats not a problem.Any help will be apprerciated. Thanks. Muley
