Hydroboost Adjustable Push Rod Solutions?

For those who have installed hydroboost brakes, I was wondering if anyone used units from an 88+ that had the fixed length push rod, and which method they got around the difference in length compared to the original bracket.

I was thinking about cutting the rod off where the body is straight, then cutting threads in and installing one of these threaded rod adjusters with a threaded clevis rod end.

I just wanted to see what kind of solutions have been derived for those who have already installed a hydrobooster setup, as I know that hydroboost is sensitive to push rod length and pedal travel do having adjustment will help in the initial setup.

Thanks,
