then had the right diameter pipe and cut it in half lengthwise and to the length it needed to be for the curved areas. then measured the sheet metal to be cut to fit and traced it after laying it in there to be cut perfect to the shape of the grille. also took and modified the radiator hold downs by flattening the top of them, welded the radiator hold down brackets to a piece of sheet metal I cut for the top. and worked my way to a piece that covers the radiator. also welded bolts to the bottom side of the radiator core support cover in a few different places to give it a nice snug fit. the other place I have to add is holes where my hood bumppers go in each corner. it has a thin layer of body filler just to keep it smoothed out.
