64 long n low build thread

Well, I have been watching this site from a distance for a long time now. 2 years in fact. It is now time for me to sign up and show some pics.
So...what i've got is a 64 lwb 1/2ton that I got when I was 15. It is a 6 banger, something I always wanted to change, but couldn't afford to. Now I am 35 and have 4 kids...so I am still broke, but I am going forward with this build. I am using craigslist for alot of my funding. gotta love craigslist!!!

Here are my plans.
Things I have:
5 lug front conversion from an 1987 chevy
5 lug rear end from a 1971 chevy non posi
Tilt steering column from 87 chevy
Jeep sprinps for the rear
bolt in c notch....almost installed
gmc grill...I love this grill
double hump hood from a 1961 chevy...I love these hoods!!!

Things to get:
350 from a late chevy
5 speed trany from same truck
3 inch drop spindles

Anyhow I am having a lot of fun work on the beast. It is great reading everyones info. I have learned alot from this site. THANKS TO ALL!!!!!
