Manual Transmission Options?

GUys,

I think I am going 700R4, but I would like to explore transmission options. The truck has the intermediate bell housing rear engine mount, normal clutch setup...Is my only option the T5 chevy S-10? Are these very stong? DOnt I have to punch a new hole in my floorboard for shift tower, since the tower is further back? Are there any threads on this topic? Are there any 4-speeds I should look at, besides the origional granny low version?
