67 C5 vette themed truck??? HELP..

Hello Guys,
I have another question for you experts out there.
I am installing a LS1 in a 67 short step truck. I have true 67 no spare rear fenders and all steel bed. The entire truck is steel ( I know this sometimes plays a factor with fittment). I am wanting to keep the C5 vette them and install 2002 Z06 wheel. I know that the vette and camaros have some serious back spacing on them. My question is this can I install these wheels in a slammed (with bags) 67? I am open to afte market suspension suggestions and longer rear axle, but my question is can or HAS it been done?

I am also wanting to weld up a MAR K or similar smooth gate to the bedsides and install C5 lights and license box in the gate. Then I am looking for one of the metal fab shops to build a custom metal C5 roll pan. Does Sir Michaels take custom work? I bought some of there pans in the past and have been impressed with them.

Any Help guys is appreciated.
