Re: State Inspections are a joke
Living in PA all my life, I'm used to inspections. I can't believe all states don't require them. (I know it sucks and I'd be the last person that would want another bill to pay yearly but it's for safety) PA is quite strict and I'm also amazed that classic and antique tagged cars are exempt.
Car guys like us should be exempt. I mean, we fix our vehicles. We keep them in good condition. I'm mainly saying this for the majority of people out there that only drive a vehicle to get from point A to point B. How many of them keep a watch on the condition of their brakes, brake lines, tires, suspension, lights, etc? Alot of people in today's world are lucky if they know how to check the oil! (and some don't even do that!!!) I'd just be concerned about all the cars & trucks coming at me (or behind me) driven by the non car types with faulty worn out parts on their cars. There has to be more accidents in states without inspections don't ya think?
