Today was NOT a good day...
Well, I was making a test run on my truck, trying to get the secondaries to quit running out of fuel on the q-jet. I got her up to 80-85 MPH and BOOM! My right front tire blew out. I started skidding sideways on the road and luckily kept her straight enough to coast to the side. I thought for sure I was going to roll. The only thing hurt on me is my pride. But the truck...well...it needs a trip to the body shop. I wanted new wheels and tires anyway, but I didn't want to have to get them THIS way. Keep in mind, on the pic below, ALL of those skid marks are mine. Moral of the story, please, please check your front tires. Thinking about getting some American Racing slots to put on next. I've always liked the look. Here's some pics of the damage:
