Sorry to keep you guys in suspense, been away for a while. Sadly, took it to a friends shop, listened and watched for about an hour, and finally concluded it wasnthe thrust bearing in the engine. Result of a
Bad crank. Was also causing the harmonic balancer
To move forward when the clutch was pressed in. Way more then it should have. (talk about bad luck). Got the engine out, just gotta get a crank and put it back together.
