ABS - not that hard?
This is another one of those pipe dream things but, would it be all that difficult to put ABS on one of these trucks? (other than big $$$) From what I understand, it takes 3 sensors and the control/pump box. I don't know if you would have to change information in the ABS computer like caliper size, weight of the truck, blah, blah. But our '99 Tahoes system seems relitively simple with the electronics and pump in one box plus the sensors. Seems more like a modular system to me. I'm tired of locking up my brakes and would probably do so more WHEN I put on the rear disc brake conversion. (Years down the road).
