2 additions to the GMC fleet

Well here they are...the wife has always wanted an old truck to work on (pre-computer) and she found this one for $2000....its a 63 GMC stepside with the original 305 v-6. she decided not to go back to stock but to actually make it more user friendly and we have barely begun. replacing parking brake cables and minor misc stuff. Oh yeah, it runs great! stops good too when there is fluid in the master cylinder too!!! (just a hint there fellas..LOL)...plans include power brake booster and possible power steering but thats gonna be pricey! gonna get the gas tank out of the cab and put it back under the bed. a few minor rust spots to rectify and some sandblasting to be done and redo the interior back to OEM. The big blue 'burb is mine and its an 88 GMC with a liftkit and sitting on 33's....will probably drop back to stock shoes cuz as a daily driver those tires suck and its not winter anymore!...had to rebuild the rearend 6 days after i got it (wasnt happy i can tell you!!)..
So what do yall think of our new toys??
