Stolen! My Dad's matching numbers '72 big block :(
My Dad took his truck down to have some work done on it the other day. Within 24 hours the truck was stolen off the repair shop's lot.
If you live in Southern California can you keep an eye out for my Dad's truck, please? It has faded red paint (basically, orange) and the roof is white. The truck has a bumper stick on the tailgate. The driverside fender has been dented and the door has a crease on the front portion near the doorjam. The truck is a matching numbers 402 Custom. It has mid-70's truck ralleye wheels on it with new tires. The motor is still fairly clean from the rebuild and the passenger side inner fender is currently out of the truck being sandblasted. Dad had a factory AM/FM radio in it. We're in the truck for a chunk of change but it's so rare we just want it back I will post pictures of it later for you guys.. BTW: Yes, we are going to sue the owners of the repair shop for the value of the truck. No, the truck was not insured against theft. My guess is the people that stole it will be parting it out. If you see any faded red 71-72s in the paper either for sale or for parts in the paper can you please call me? My phone number is: 909-314-5966 Today really sucked bye, Colin
