Need help with paint and body ideas on my two tone 86 lwb

Right now she is a typical red with a black through the middle 2 tone setup.

I'm pretty set on the interior being a two tone, red and black. Basically I'm keeping what's red red, and changing the ugly-to-me burgundy pieces to black. That part I've already started.

But the exterior. She has a few rust spots, the cab corners need to be done, the rockers are solid. Passenger door is a bit chewed from rust along with behind the rear passenger tire. The rest overall is pretty darn solid.

I was thinking of keeping the red on top, and where it turns down at the front fender but instead carrying that line straight down to the bottom of the fender. Then either spray the bottom half of the truck black again, or go with a dark charcoal like what I've seen on later model (90s) pickups that were red/charcoal two tone from the factory.

I was going to remove the thick body side molding. The Rally rims are staying for now.

Here she is currently:

Any ideas? Suggestions? Opinions?
