I got lucky and did the o2 sensor myself to the tune of $65 when the mechanics wanted darn near $300. This hub bearing seems to be a little out of my league though. Same mechanics are wanting about $385 out the door for this job.
Anybody in or around Anderson, SC that will do it for the low-low

Here some other things that seem to wear out "regularly"....
Front wheel bearings (hub assembly).
Parking brake shoes &/or rear rotors.
Intermediate steering shaft.
Intake manifold gaskets.
Water pump gaskets.
Fuel pump.
Fuel pressure regulator.
That price is high in my opinion, $7500 to $8000 is more reasonable.

how in the crap my mechanic missed that i don't know. i was able to move the tire back and forth about 3-4 inches. guess he won't be my mechanic anymore!
