8 lug to 5x5 swap and rear end questions?

Hi Guys. Need some ideas... Getting all confused with what to look for here. Want front disc brakes. I drive daily and sometimes tow utility trailer. 4 wheel drums without power brakes isn't cutting it. My master cylinder is leaking now at the firewall, so now is the time.
Was thinking...
- new master cylinder w/ 11" booster
- 5x5 front stock spindles and disc brake kit
- swap my Dana 60 for a different rear end with 5x5 lug pattern? Was hoping to avoid floating axle so I could put some decent caps on wheels in place of big open holes for the ends of the axle. What should I look for? Hoping for easy swap without welding and fab. I can do nuts and bolts. Used would be great.
Thanks,
Danny
