305/350 exhaust manifolds HELP!

I ran into a problem with my Blazer and the morons around here at the parts stores are clueless to anything pre 1990. My '85 K-5 originally had a 305 in it with 305 exhaust manifolds and 305 y-pipe. The 305 blew and i bought a rebuilt 350 and dropped it in. I used the old 305 manifolds and the y-pipe for about a year now. I decided that i wanted to go with a set of 350 manifolds caus i like the design of them better. (they drop down at the back instead of going up and then down like the 305s did thus less burnt up plug wires) Problem is now the y-pipe wont fit. Everyone told me that the 2 uses the same y-pipe. I probubly can manage to get the passenger side to work but the drivers side is way off. and even the angle that it comes off seems a little different. The 350 manifold is about 4-5 inches longer then the old 305. My question is Do i need to get a different y-pipe? or do i have the wrong set of manifolds? the guy at the auto store says that the only made one y-pipe in 85 (my year) and made 2 pipes in 87 This is a picture of what the 350 manifolds look like that I bought eBay item 2425560198 (Ends Jul-30-03 06:48:54 PDT) - CHEVY/GMC TRUCK EXHAUST MANIFOLDS except mine have the metal piece along the top to keep them from spreading.

Any info you can provide would be greatly appreciated caus my truck is down now with no manifolds on it.

Thanks
Dan
