Transfer Case Leaking - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I finnally broke down and took the K5 apart. It has been leaking atf from the transfer case. I purchased a seal and gasket set locally. Started taking the 205 apart. I still have to take the stand out with the seals to keep the atf in the trans. I had a 84 K10 with a 208 case in it, very easy to take in and out. The 205 is HEAVY and awkward. I have had trhe top off since mid May and love it. Hope to have it done by the weekend.
