More Gas to Guzzle

I finally replaced the gas tank switch on my '72 Sierra which had been set frozen to the main tank for going on 8 years. Pumped out the old gas (had a distinct turpentine-ish reek) and was relieved to find no rust in the saddle tanks. I haven't filled the auxiliary tanks yet, but have been told by the previous owner that the fuel gauge stays on "E" when I'm using them.

The question I didn't ask him, though-- and can't find the answer to on Google-- is, if I fill all three tanks, do I need to use them in a particular order? Such as, the auxiliary tanks before the main, or visa-versa? Sorry if this is a dumb question; it's a new experience.
