glad i was drivin a 66
i just went to pick up my old truck darlenne this last week end. im movin to baton rouge and it was the last thing i had out in georgia. did an oil change and gave her a good once over then hopped on the road. i was just toolin along down the road makin pretty decent time, avg 60 ish mph, when all the sudden i hear this horendous screeching or metal and my trucks jumps up in the air.
i had been on the road all of maybe 2 minutes before a 62 chevy c20 pulls up to see if i was ok. im glad i was drivin a 66 for sure. may not have stopped if it was a honda. lol. either way they were great dudes. took me all over the place tryin to get my truck of the side of the interstate. after a sketchy trailer, a broken come along, 1 crazy intense rain storm, and a stuck tow truck my old girl is in a safe place waiting for me to get back to her. gotta love the community that these old trucks make. oh and one more thing. any body know where i can find a real cheap rear end around tallahassee florida?
