66 Brake Booster - fix or replace?

Finally drug the '66 out of the field and fired it up after several years...still runs great. So now going through the brakes...drums all around, need new shoes, cylinders, master cylinder, and a couple of lines.

When I took off the master cylinder, the rod that goes into the booster is fused (rusted) into the MC. So I started looking at replacing both the MC and the booster. I am having a hard time finding a booster.

Should I try to fix mine or replace everything with a more modern setup? I could try to remove the rod from the back of the MC but it does not look good...and I don't know if there is any kind of clip or anything that holds that rod in the MC. If not, I may be able to get it out.

And if I replace everything, I will probably want to go the extra mile and put discs up front. A lot of expense, but probably worth it.

Any suggestions on either fixing my current setup or options to replacing with a different setup would be appreciated.
