most motorhome owners have quick disconnects on their driveshafts. The problem with leaving the driveshafts hooked up is they still spin the output shafts of the trans or transfer case, without the iput shaft spinning their is no lubrication to those output shaft bearings and you can easily burn them up. Does it always happen, no, but much better safe then sorry.

I've always pulled them but figured it was different with 4by4
